More Belgian than ever!
Two months and a half ago, I left Belgium.
I was tired about its institutions and government. I didn't feel welcome in my own country... So I decided to move abroad but had to deal an other type of problem, called the Cultural Shock. Face a new language, culture, rhythm of life and way of thinking seemed so difficult for me, but I feel like home actually 😁 I've always had a good ability to adapt myself in every kind of situation!

Also, living with such different people from many countries is so interesting for me! Of course it's difficult sometimes cause we have really different cultures, but everything can be solved as long as we are open-minded! I met such wonderful people here, and I'm really grateful !
But now I feel more Belgian than ever! And want to share my culture and colours with every people I met! It's a really strange feeling, this country I started to hate is missing me a lot now. I also didn't know that the feeling of lack could be so strong... I mean, of course I knew I'll miss my family and friends, but not like this! (I think my lil' sister has never missed me so much)
So BELGIAN friends, If you dare to doubt that I think of you every day, here is the proof that you are mistaken :
My friends wrote me an astronomical amount of letters before my departure. I've (almost) read everything
Here's the proof I have to think about you e v e r y d a y
As I'm kind of nostalgic, here are some pictures from my beautiful Liège, Belgium.
The first one is my last Belgian Sunrise, the second one was taken by my talented friend Morgan Diepart, from the rooftop of my beloved University's Residence (☔MAKE IT RAIN please, the poor belgian girl I am is not made for the romanian weather !!!! I'm dying)
BUT, my best day during those two months was surely when I received a package FULL of Belgian chocolates by my wonderful mom 🍫🍫 ( I can't wait for the beer 🍻)
See u very soon,
Pupici, Hélène
