Merry Christmas! ☃️❄️


I had two Christmas this year: a Romanian one with the office and volunteers, and a Belgian one with my family!

There isn't much to tell! We went to Napoli, our favorite restaurant, with all the volunteers and office people! We previously picked the names to do a secret Santa : I picked Mustafa and offered him a coffee cup from Macedonia and a pair of fancy socks (to survive during winter)!

Mohammed picked me, and I received a candle and ... BELGIAN chocolate truffes 😍!





In Belgium, I spent my time with my family, and my wonderful boyfriend 💕

Christmas fireworks in my little Belgian village!

I visited Pairi Daiza (beautiful during christmas time, full of lights!), Liège, Bruxelles, Namur, Charleroi and I finally took the plane back to Budapest to spend the New year's Eve in the Hungarian capital! 
Our plane had a delay (such a surprise!) and we really thought we will celebrate New Year in the Airport! We finally spent it in the bus hahaha, from Budapest Airport to the city center 😂 Still it was the most wonderful New year of my life, probably because i spent it with the love of my life! I finally spent 9 days in Budapest and Gyöngyös, before coming back to Romania! 

I have nothing to say more, I will just share some picture of my holiday time!

First hitchhiking trip!

From the 21 to the 29 of July we (Mustafa, Basra and I) left Novi sad for a 8 days trip around balkan countries. First experience for me, and such an adventure! If i go into the details, my article will take you 4 hours reading, so I'll go to the essentials parts! Here are our trip : Novi Sad - Zagreb (Croatia) After many cars, a first Turkish truck driver took us on the highway, and offered us a nice drive till the Croatian border. He stoped one Km before, and offered us snacks, coffee, drinks and so on. After what we started walking next to the trucks in the direction of the border. Some of the drivers gave us what they had with them, I was full of hope! We passed the border and stopped to rest under a tree. We rested, laughed and talked about how to go to Zagreb. Then, surprise! An other Turkish truck driver stopped (Büsra asked him to hahaha) and was going to Zagreb!! We were so lucky that day! More Belgian than ever!

Two months and a half ago, I left Belgium. I was tired about its institutions and government. I didn't feel welcome in my own country... So I decided to move abroad but had to deal an other type of problem, called the Cultural Shock. Face a new language, culture, rhythm of life and way of thinking seemed so difficult for me, but I feel like home actually 😁 I've always had a good ability to adapt myself  in every kind of situation! Also, living with such different people from many countries is so interesting for me! Of course it's difficult sometimes cause we have really different cultures, but everything can be solved as long as we are open-minded! I met such wonderful people here, and I'm really grateful !  But now I feel more Belgian than ever! And want to share my culture and colours with every people I met! Training Course in Macedonia 🇲🇰

Beginning of December, the manager of the association (Daniel) proposed me to assist a training course about Human rights in Macedonia. I begged him during an entire week to take my flatmates with me, first because we are all interested in the topic and second cause it was our last time all together! He finally accepted, and we (Mustafa, Carolina, Büsra & I) all jumped in Daniel's car for a long trip to Kratovo! The training was interesting, all the topics were really well explained in a formal way, and the practice was done in a non-formal way : perfect combination for me! We stayed in a Hotel in Kratovo, the end of the world, according to Nazis back in the war time! I quite agree with them! We also had a free day to visit the capital Skopje, and of couuuuurse the first stop was to eat Burek and drink Turkish tea!
